Ok so I've recently purchased an old style arcade stick from fleaBay, long story short is that everything works except the right direction on the stick, the wire that carries the signal is cut somewhere inside the cord, there's an extra wire in there and I was going to use it but it's cut somewhere also, there's no continuity to either of them from one end to the connector.
So I wired start to "right"on the joystick, so whenever either is pressed they both are, since NeoGeo games use select for pause it worked great except for the fact that....
I didn't realize that if you press start, a, b and c simultaneously it brings up the unibios in-game menu.
Is the only option to turn off the in-game menu option?
I did that on my Omega with unibios 3.1 but I don't get that option on my AES.
My omega has the unibios that I paid for and Raz sent me, the AES has the free version.
I'll probably just end up getting a new cable from eBay but I was wondering if there was another work around.
