Anyone ever seen this bizarre one?

My friend grabbed Strikers 1945 1 and 2 pcbs, both original Psikyo boards. He doesn't have his cab just yet, so I am testing them out in mine.

Strikers 2 works just fine. But Strikers 1 randomly flips the image over, then later back again. This is on my Blast City MS2930, and it does it on my supergun with an XRGB Mini.

Sounds like dip 1 on SW1 controls screen flip. I'll bet that switch has a shoddy connection that's going in and out. If that's the case, should be an easy fix I think.

Gonna wait to see if anyone has any advice before trying anything though :)

Definitely the screen flip dip. Check if the switch 1 on dip 2 feels loose or if you have a cracked solder joint.

The screen flip in strikers 2 is a soft dip setting instead of hard dip.

That would be my guess. Might just be a dirty switch, as well.

Well this was an easy fix. dip #1 on SW2 controls screen flip, and it was set to on. Turning it back off fixes the game. So it does mean this game won't stay flipped if needed, but who ever actually needs that?

Here's the manual too, just to make this thread a little more useful:
