Puzzle bobble by far is the most common boot.

Slug 5, SVC, and KoF2k3 had a fair amount of boots because there was no official cartridge version for a time.

I've seen lots of KoF 2k2/3 as well. Seen plenty of MS3 boots too.

Neo bomber man and puzzle bobble I have seen the most, followed by metal slug 5. I got a strikers 1945 boot somewhere too, it may be common I just don't see them much.

I've seen KoF 2000 to 2003 MVS boots, puzzle bobble, Strikers 1945, Metal Slug 3 and 5, Samurai Shodown 3, Garou, Ganryu, Pulstar. Don't remember having seen any other.

Which is pure irony, since the PCB version was introduced to counter piracy...

Don't confuse MVS boots with AES boots. MVS bootlegs were made back when these games were new and directly competed with SNK for profits. AES bootlegs are almost all recent creations targeted at collectors who pay too much for games.
