What are your favorite non-NeoGeo 4 Button fighters? (or 5-Button honorable mentions)

Virtua fighter 3. It's considered weak by many but is my favourite in the series.

Asura Buster/Blade are both 3 button, yet excellent.

It catches a lot of shit; however, I love Spectral v Generation. Speaking of PGM, Martial Masters is ACE.

Finally, the 1st Power Instinct will always make me nostalgic and happy.

I spent a ton of time with Tekken 3 and soul caliber growing up. Those are my absolute favorite

Hey wataru gave the green light on craptastic titles so I followed, specially 'cause it's 3D...

Also on the other end of the spectrum, as in good titles, Dead or Alive Series.

lol i thought i was going to be the only one who says rival schools, but nice to see it on peoples lists.best 3d fighter of all time imo.

I really like Tekken 2, spent so much time with that one, but Tekken Tag might be my favorite in the series.
I also really like Karate Champ, it's gameplay and control are horrendous now, but back then there was nothing like it.
Yie Ar Kung Fu is another one I really dig, super deep for a game that only had a stick and one button. Sad that it wasn't 2 player.
Yes I know KC and YAKF aren't 4 button but stil worth a mention for their uniqueness among a sea of fighters.

Does Street Fighter on the Genesis with a standard controller count? Pressing start to switch between punch and kick, classic.
