When my friend showed me Samurai Showdown, we were so stoked we played and played forever, doing all nighters with chips and beers!!! Good times

Samurai Shodown is probably the better game but I find myself playing Fatal Fury Special more.

SamSho 1 was soo distinct that year.

I remember being able to hear it's title music over the din of the arcade in the bowling alley, and it's setting and characters feeling so cool and exotic at the time, especially compared to the rest of the fighters, brawlers, and shmups filling the arcade.
