Well wasn't saying your son is a douche... But father knows best :-) I kind of hope someone just makes all the original levels so I can just actually play super Mario original when I want to. Or setup a way where you can put all the level together and give someone a chance to pay them all like a regular game with a set number of lives.

The game is amazing im not really into games that let you create things as I just dont have the time with all the backlog of games but im really enjoying this title. Its very addictive when you start to create a level. Before you know it you just want to get each section perfect. The whole thing is just great, it has a few things missing but im sure extras will be added in the future. Just the replay value alone with this title makes it well worthwhile.

Also interesting how Nintendo has made a game where the fans can now create things that Nintendo may not have even considered and Nintendo can just rip the communities ideas into a new game, essentually letting the fans create their new levels for them.....

Feel free to add me to your lists of creators and ill do the same for you guys!

Awesome! I'm gonna comb through this thread to check out your stages and start following you guys

Here's my ode to the NES TMNT Area 2 where you have to diffuse all the bombs to save the Dam from blowing up. Here the bombs are '?' Blocks so make sure you don't miss any ;) You should end with 5 coins and the three mushrooms are strategically placed (You'll need all of them to get through the tight areas. Well, I do anyway.) Also, I had to get a little creative at the end as in the TMNT game the stage ends when you diffuse the last bomb, but here you still need to hit the flagpole..

I recorded that terrible buzzing sound from the original game when you touch the seaweed stuff, but after I uploaded it it changed it back to birds tweeting. Is it not possible to upload custom recorded sounds?

I just checked a few days ago and on ebay it seems to be 53$+ or so. tropical freeze was still 30+ too.
I'll just have to keep waiting for the wiiu zelda:D

With some of the more recent titles that have come out for the WiiU, especially this one, I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on buying one. I just don't know if it's worth $400... I'm a frugal fuck.

Its pretty fun game man & this is the first time i actually been playing my Wii U since launch date. You can pick up a used for less then $200 on craigslist.

Nintendo has released a number of bundles that make the $300 price tag much easier to swallow:

It's all about the excellent first party titles that Nintendo keeps pumping out that makes this system worth it: Zelda: Windwaker HD, Pikmin 3, Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World, New Super Mario Bros. U, Super Smash Bros. WiiU and of course, SMM.

Nope! Once your level goes live, all recorded sounds are changed to birds. Recorded sounds only stay during local play. That said, I don't know if someone downloads your level that the recorded sound will go with it in that case, I'm only assuming it won't.

Also, gonna be trying this level out when I get home, tonight!

I finally got a Wii-U the other day. I was pretty disappointed to see all the highest ranked levels are stupid musical levels you can't actually play. Makes me wish there was a way to filter out all the music crap. People are basically turning mario into a music generator. Maybe there is a way to sort, I haven't played much yet. I really just want to play some well thought out levels, with moderate difficulty and creativity.
