Hi there.

I have a 3rd A-board for my CPS2 games that, at first, didn't had sound at all.
I did the volume button down trick, didn't solved.
But I'd still have everything but sound.

Today I wanted to give a check on that A-board, and when I turn it on, I get this pink screen :

It gets stuck in this exact screen.
Dead custom? Ram?

The B-board works wonders on my other two A-boards.

Thanks in advance.

Check the 01 ROM on the game PCB. If that's good its going to probably be a connection between the a and B board or the z80

It works on both of my two other A-boards.
It's just on this 3rd A-board that it gets stuck.

Z80 you say? I don't think I have a 8Mhz one to swap.
Damn it. :blow_top:

have a good look over the connectors on the 'a' board, maybe there is a bent/missing pin there or a broken solder joint.

I don't think so anymore.
Now all of a sudden it shows a No Good work ram error and gets stuck there right from the beginning.

Why is this system such a pain? Damn...
