I have a Sega Astro City with Nanao MS8-29FSG monitor (15kHz/24kHz resolutions). When I play Namco System 10 boards like Kono E-Taco, Star Trigon, Mr. Driller G the game will sometimes boot with a crisp 15kHz picture...but sometimes they'll boot with an Interlaced picture. (And sometimes it'll boot one way and then go interlaced or crisp after playing a round.) Is there anything I can do about this so it always boots one way?

Is the termination on your monitor auto or fixed? Sounds like it's flipping between 75ohm and 1kohm, either that or the sync selector IC is going bad.

I have noticed that test mode on sys10 boards seems to be interlaced where as the games themselves are progressive. Not sure if that is relevant at all.

Not familiar with the other games but you can go into settings on Mr driller G and turn interlace on and off.
