I dug them up recent for show, then I put them up for sale because I do not think I will be playing them anytime soon.

Not bad. Not bad at all.

That Ninja Commando will probably move quickly...

Impressive. You're right up there with the 1st English Speaking dude to own Neo Geo in the Western World.

Whenever I see a collection that was bought at the time I always think how pissed off you'd be that you hadn't bought a US Slug 1 or something like that.

How many really did buy a us ms1 when it first came out?
I guess very very very few.

Yeah absolutely. I often forget that most of my favourite games (and also a lot of the now more expensive games) were brought out after the system (in console format) was kind of already dead.

Very nice collection. That must have cost a fortune back in '92!

Do you still have the system? Not even a little part of you wants to keep them after firing the system up?

The real question is: Is New Zealand a westernised country?

There was (and probably still is) a technology lag of about 3 years between here and the rest of the world, so it was a miracle any mainstream video consoles made it here.

I was probably the only active collecting owner of the system during that period.

It is easier to flick the switch on the astro cab and flick through the games on the multicart.

Nice collection! Those babies need to be stored in something more fitting like this:

The CPS dash guy?

I loved the video he posted of his bum rush from the Thai Pharmacy...I would do the same to a customer who sole reason for returning something was because of the price.

Well, it probably went a little something like:

"Wow. Haven't played these in ages! Where do I start? Hmmm, this one looks cool"...

** Inserts Riding Hero **

"Err, okay. Nevermind. Let's try this one!"

** Inserts Super Spy **

"Ah. Right. Third time lucky then!"

** Inserts Ninja Combat '**

"Fuck it. Might as well sell all this shit off"

** Creates this thread on NeoHyphenGeo.com **

The French and odd British member bombard the Rugdoctor with PM's about Ninja Commando and Last Resort

** The End **

Lol...yeah riding hero sucks hard. I don't know whether the linking feature will save it? Probably not. My personal favourite is soccer brawl, nothing like tackle someone then shoot them with the laser when they get up.

Am I the only one who really enjoyed Riding Hero?
I mean, the RPG mode was nice.
Normal racing sucked hard tho.

Spot on.
Seriously, how many PMs have you received at this point?
Cool to see this by the way.
