Baseball Stars 2 Settings? (MAME)

In Mame pressing F2 to look at settings. Normally you can change cpu skill for neo geo games but that option is not available.

1P has a # then OUT next to it in intervals that do not make sense. Lowest being 8 and highest being 22.

Any guess to what these means?

The link provided did not answer the original question about #'s and OUTs intervals

or what version you are running?

Probably wouldn't have this trouble on real hardware...

I no longer own a BS2 kit, but I looked at an old photo from the soft DIP sheets and the outs are exactly what you expect. The number of outs you get for a credit. Default setting is 22. The time setting takes precedence.

22 outs equals 3 full innings + top of 4th innings + 1 more out. Kinda defeats the purpose of adjusting the play time setting, BUT by continuing you get 5 more power ups. which come in handy down the stretch.
