Well turns out the guy I know isn't interested.

Is this a thing with a known fault and you just need someone to do some tests and replace known components based on them?

It's a simple controller fix, just cut off the connector and replace it with a DB15 connector with hood.

So basically, cut off the one on the right and replace with the one on the left.
