I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that they've spent all of the pre-order cash on food and are now suffering from high blood pressure.

Maybe they are very sick and their medical bills are through the roof. To pay for this health issue they maybe will raise the price of the game $100.

Well, isn't this their last game?

No it shouldn’t be the last game from them.
Only the last «big» project according to a previous newsletter :

«We know that we started pre order too early for it, but without the pre orders we wouldn't have been able to made a big game like this.
The next few games will be smaller projects again, with similar work sizes like NEO XYX (pixelart) and Razion (CGI).
We will probably do a huge project in the size of Kraut Buster in the future again, but not for a few years and in a different genre»

One game is a Genesis game with one-room screens, the other is a Metal Slug clone, you tell me which one takes longer to make.

Getting a Genesis game for $200, and people are calling it cheap. What a deal!

It looks like alot of fun but this has been crazy. I'll probably pick it up second hand for more, and that seems preferable then dealing with this company's nonsense.

It would have been nice to have had this under the tree seeing as its the only day off I've had in months. I hope the NG: DEV.TEAM team is on the mend and we see these arriving in January.
