Looks really interesting but most of the reviews also say it's insanely difficult bordering on unfair, and that the controls suck even with the added ability to use the stick to move Mion.

Typical nippon ichi. Im not really a fan of thier games. They always look so good with color porn graphics and sound but the gameplay is just so out there usually. I feel like thone day they will hit something out of the park but i havent seen it yet.

looks just as fun as this ''game''
get punished(while ''guiding'' arduos{hmm maybe arduous isn't the best-its first definition doesn't make it sound appropriate for the ''grinding'' I thought it meant} torture), get punished (the soundtrack, the sound of ''searching the darkness''), get punished by ''dying'' because you didn't solve the puzzle, get punished by the cutscene when you find a goal(how you could call that a reward idk) find the purple things and keep catatonically strolling for more punishment wheee! http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/self-injury/basics/definition/con-20025897

looks like torture to me. are their other hits ''games'' or more like this?

I'm sure the later stages open up even more punishment, if the only control is those lights and sitting her down what fun it would be to randomly pick which purple light to click first?-just my guess of what happens later.

I got my copy the other day but haven't tried it out yet. Will probably do so on my Vita TV.

I am a sucker for NISA releases though, and the retail release of this was only $20, with the LE version that comes with extras for only $30 so I had to bite. Vita releases seem like they will be hard to get later since the system has so little support so I am picking up a lot of them early before they disappear.

I'm right there with you on picking up Vita games before they're gone. I grabbed the LE as well but haven't had the time this week to play it yet. From what I've read it sounds a bit like Limbo. It's certainly a nice looking package.

I've also read that the touch controls are terrible and the way to play is control scheme C.

Bought the LE myself and tried it on the Vita TV. Need to figure out the alternate control schemes as the default (touch) sucks balls on the Vita TV. Seems like a weird, esoteric little title...probably will end up being on the rare side.

I've got an LE copy, and was playing the game the last two days. Even with the analog controls, there are a number of parts that are just frustrating to get through due to asking for more precision than the controls can reliably do. That and the 4th boss is absolute bullshit that comes down to luck to beat.

There are some fun and semi-clever puzzles and the art is neat, but it gets overshadowed by all the frustrating stuff. Somehow I suffered through it all and got the platinum trophy, but like hell if I'll ever play through the game again anytime soon.

Yeah, most of what I've heard is that the difficultly on this is pretty punishing. The art style looks so cool though, I really want it to be great.
