I would agree: Special > 2 > 1

And I like Fatal Fury 3, but since when is it part of the Real Bout series?

Its usually a toss up between RB2 and RBS. I have RBS and enjoy it greatly.

I used to say Real Bout Special, no hesitation. Now I may be inclined to go with Real Bout 2 after spending a little more time with it (especially if you're playing 2 players exclusively). It's just frantic, no messing, knock an opponent down, go again. Overall, I couldn't say between RBS & RB2, it'll change on how I'm feeling that day.

I threw FF3 in the mix cause its the same sprites and similar gameplay. To me it seems to me to be the starting point of RB. Like an RB0

Special though depending on what characters you use I can see people liking more 2 better. Personally I played the Saturn version of Special for years before I got to play 2 so I am biased because of that.

Same here. I've had RBFF2 (MVS) for years, but I still need to upgrade my Saturn Real Bout Best Collection to MVS carts of RBFF & RBFFS.

my favourite is Real Bout Special but i think RB2 is a great game too. Fatal Fury 3 is not part of Real Bout series but i just wanted to say that i love it.

I'm not very good at them, but I think I like RBS more than RB2. RB2 feels like it's missing something, though I'm not sure what it is.
