Apparently this has been around for a couple months, and I didn't see any topics on this here. Its another one of those Korean developed games licensed by SNKP similar to the Samurai Shodown "Run and slice" app that was released there last year.

Doubt we'll see it stateside, but I'll say it certainly looks more interesting then the SS game.

It sort of looks like a mash up of a runner and Metal Slug Defense. I had a blast with Defense, but it didn't really have that staying power. I have no interest in returning to it. If this hits our shores, though, I'd give it a play. Doesn't look horrid to me.

When they get hit, it's just red numbers popping up instead of dying. Doesn't play like a Metal Slug game at all.

At least graphically it looks a bit only a tiny bit interesting. What can you epect in the gameplay department from a game named Metal Slug for Kakao Revolution?

Looks better than Metal Slug defense, that game felt super recycled.

The game looks like a steaming pile of shit. Phone games don't have to suck, but they almost always do.

Even though I don't really care for 7/XX, I would rather Metal Slug continue in that direction. It could produce something outstanding eventually.

Physical copies on dedicated gaming handhelds, and digital distribution on consoles/PC is the way to go. The complete lack of quality control makes it a toxic environment for game development.

Trying to branch the Metal Slug name/franchise out into different game genres is something that is tough just because it is such a loved game. I don't think this incarnation and use of Metal Slug seems right, it just looks off
