gameboy color a and b buttons not working

Hi guys I have a gameboy color that has battery damage and the a and b buttons pads on the motherboard are gone completely destroyed by the acid any ideas?

Get some surface mount micro pushbutton switches, wire it to A and B, and super glue/epoxy them to where the pads used to be.

Can you take pics of the PCB and where the buttons are? I could be more help that way.

Sorry for the late reply what I did was I have a broken gbasp motherboard and I removed the pushbuttons and glued them to the PCB and now it works now I need to fix the sound. Thanks guys for the ideas.

If you just need to replace the speaker, take the one out of the SP and use that. That's what I used to get one of my GBCs sound working again. A bit of modification around where the speaker is needs to be done (just cut a big enough notch for the speaker protrusion).
