The only neo geo game that gives you the option to play in tate mode is Neo XYX.

On PS2 the Cave titles all gives the option to play in tate mode.

Add Giga Wing 1 & 2 to the list on the Dreamcast side.
Those are vertical shooters.

Oh wait, I'm thinking you just are looking for the ones that have the tate mode for the screen right? I don't think that's option in those games, I'll have to test them out.

you have to get the Japanese version to have true tate play. The American allows you to rotate the screen, but won't link the controls. If you are looking for Shienryu at some point get it for Jpn Saturn or PS2. The PSX ports don't tate.

With some exceptions like above, usually any shooting game from the 32-bit era and up will have a tate mode of some kind.

I've heard that using a Japanese Raiden Project save file will rotate the controls on the US Raiden Project.

I only have the Japan version, unfortunately I can't confirm this.

Sony USA didn’t want people breaking their CRTs, or accidentally dropping them on their feet, kids, or pets

Haha Kid Panda! I just knew that those games were in the arcade as vertical shooters, but didn't realize that when the came out they were made to be horizontally aligned even though they move vertical.

My mistake guys:emb:
