So not even sure if this technically possible but figured this would be a good place to ask first.

Some guys did a hack of Sonic 1 and turned it into an awesome fishing game!

I'm wondering if anyone here could make a Mega Drive cartridge into one for me. I don't need a label or anything and can provide the sac cartridge!

Not to turn this into a tech support thread, but what is a good junker cart for this rom swap. Never have messed with making genesis carts before, and this could be a good christmas gift for some local friends.

HEY MODS CAN YOU PLEASE move this thread to the creative sub forum for the duration of the project?

Made some progress on the MD cover over the weekend. Pretty happy how it turned out besides the G is kinda fucked from a type standpoint. But that is the official typeface so I might leave it. Test prints and label coming later this week. Then I'll start on the Genesis version.

All this art will be made publicly available if you want to make your own cart once I'm done!

Also if anyone knows how to get ahold of the author I'd like to let them know we are doing this. I'm not a member of the forum this contest took place on and I've never seen "flamewing" around these parts. http://shc.sonicresearch.org/entry/48

Holidays slowed production down a bit on my end so US Genesis is not done yet. However, Vectorman hooked it up BIG and sent me some soldered boards over the break. I was able to get the first batch of these ran today!
