My first Neo Geo memory is of a comic book store in NE Philly (on Bustleton Ave. somewhere) that had an AES setup that one could play and possibly rent. Man it was awesome but the price was crazy. I recall playing Nam 1975 there.
Bought my first (albeit long sought after) MVS cab on November 11 for $25 from CL. (Pics and tale in the "Post Your Recent Purchases!" thread around page 182.)
Got it moved this weekend into its basement home, installed an acquired two-slot PCB and joystick/button harness set, popped in Samurai Shodown II and fired her up:
Marquee is on its way.
Looking forward to installing a unibios and a memory card.
This forum supports a great video game system and houses a great community of gamers. I am looking forward to being more apart of that. Thanks for having me.
