Nobody is willing to give people negative feedback, which is why the feedback score is sort of a useless measure.

If someone earns it, I'd give a neg. If I deserve a neg so be it.

I think only a handful of assholes are afraid. We debate everything here so the truth will come out.

I had enough zenblaster and I'm waxing some new market leeches.

Feedback is essential. If you're not using it, it's just a circle jerk until something goes bad. They usually go bad in bunches.

If someone leaves you an unjustified neg, we'll clear it.

This issue with feedback was discussed when it was first implemented. How about doing something unusual. . .

1) Instead of leaving feedback at the end of a transaction, use the system to open a transaction. Automatically apply feedback after X amount of days. Send email notifications that the system automatically left feedback. Then, the user is on the hook to change it. There are different dynamics in market behavior whether a positive or negative would be used as a default left by the system. Opening a transaction would also track people that back out of transactions. Scammers and time wasters thrive on others not actively creating a record.

Or/

2) Get rid of the plus/minus system. Have users input some information that concerns buyers and sellers. "Shipped within X days after payment. Item as described". What's positive (acceptable) by one user may not be acceptable to another. Take the good and bad out of the equation and instead create a record of expected behavior that relies on facts and less on opinion ("Good seller").

Is there any way to put a star rating system into place? Seeing a low star rating besides a person's name does alot more then seeing a number. Just cause someone has high feedback doesn't mean its all positive. You have to do some digging to see whats up. I feel the star system would help to weed out the bad sellers at quick glance.
