Coming by train so no space needed. Did shoot you a phone msg - did you receive that? Those crazy fins - have been in the Hotel Sauna today, a fin joined and realising it wasn't hot enough He poured 2 buckets of water over the coal in like 10 mins. :-)

Remember to bring your own drinks and snacks too. I will provide some, but would be nice if people would bring something to be shared with everyone, lemonade, chips (not English fish and chips please...). Example RR is making his famous hot bacon rings.

But anyway the gaming is the thing! (I'm just probably modding systems and watching :D )

Game Room 1 is almost ready for the meeting!

I'm just getting some things up together now. Is there anything anyone wants me to bring if I can? I'm already going to bring PC2NEO.

I have a few AES magic keys still, these are AES versions which means it fits in the AES and accepts AES carts (not MVS carts). Its a bit pointless really but only good if you want to get unibios cheats without installing a universe bios in the AES.

I have a couple of AES games I could bring if needed, kof99 and aof2?

There is going to be a CPS2 board present yes? I could bring a CPS2 SSF2x I have.

I also have a CPS3 PCB with a suicide free cart. I have never tested it all however given I do not have a SCSI drive. Maybe you have one lying around we could try Miikka?

Ok so Ill bring a couple of CPS2 games. I forgot to say I also have a top loader with unibios installed in it I can bring.

Unfortunately only SCSI drive I have is in my A590 drive for the amiga 500.

Gonna pick up Mendel soon and then I'll see if I have time to mod cdz before meeting.

Miikka, is your CPS2 a Blue/Green 'A' board?

Also I can bring a couple M27C4000 devices (same pin out as 27C400) if it would make your CDZ install easier?

Should be green A board, says Mendel (bought it from him). Just opened CDZ, bios is not impossible, and yes, M27C4000 would help, because I could just solder wires pin to pin.

I almost fucked up with cdz and heat gun, but luckily didn't cut traces when few pads got loose. Hopefully it works now even without jump wiring it, just need to add socket to the wires.

Back to life. Berry and his lovely wife (my younger son is now fan of ihre Frau) were last to leave bit before 5? And after me and my wife escorted them to the train, I sat down, drank one last beer and went to bed thinking the it was the best meeting so far.

So thanks to everybody, you were great. And special thanks to Raz for the surprise cart you had for us to test, to RR for delicious hot bacon/onion rings and of course to BerryTogart for being The Man and coming all the way from Austria to visit us.

I didn't take much pictures because I couldn't find camera's memory card, but I'll post some from my phone soon.

I'm on Tapatalk here so uploading images and extensive commenting will have to wait, but as a short notice thank you so very much to you and your wife for being such exceptionally great hosts. Setup, food, drinks, action and even escorting us to the train! at 5am. We both had a very good time, also thank you to everyone there sticking to english all the night (even your kids!), bringing along all the rare stuff and sharing it with us. Please also forward our greetings and thanks to your wife and kids.

I'd love to go to Finland and reunite Machine Men.

Funny, part of my childhood I grew up in a country home/farm way up in the mountains and I went to school in a small rural town called Filandia in Quindío, Colombia. My favorite town ever, I miss it so much...if I could go back and just work the fields for the rest of my days I'd be a happy man. It still is my plan B when I finally get tired of all the riff raff here in the real world.

omg I have a definite wardrobe malfunction of the worst kind while playing shock troopers :o

Anyways, definite highlight of the meeting was playing crossed swords 2 MVS. Raz is the man, as if that was not obvious before.

Big thanks to Saku for fixing my Dreamcast.

Funny thing happened in the end after others left I "fixed" Miisalo´s STV sounds :D (I promise, no soldering was involved in that).

I also left my Taito F3 in the hands of Miisalo, with hopes that some day in the future it might run all region games. (honestly, no rush. I´ve had it for long time doing nothing while I was wondering if I would do something about it)

When testing the sound, better select game that actually uses the boards sound chip and not something that is not there. Just saying...
