Daedalus MVS converter switch

Hi,
I remember when I received it I was fiddling with it and can't remember if I got it back to its original position. In what position should the switch be at when it's off? Should it up or down (red marker) when facing towards you?

I use a 9v system and MSX plays fine in both switch modes but as it say on the NeoStore "The switch should also be turned off after you've used it for MSX as this fix is for that one title only" I want to be able to turn it off.

The game should only work in one position since it's turning it on and off. If yours is an early system that was converted to 9v then that would explain why it works both ways.

Since I don't really know what the switch does except being a fix for MSX I thought it may damage other games like the NeoStore instructions may indicate. I haven't noticed any problems so I guess there's nothing to worry about.
