A project from a few months back. I redid some of the outer stitching after these initial photos. Also included string and a hamburger bead on the back so he could be hung.
Felt, so he sticks to himself (good for hugs, hide and seek, giggles, and headaches poses)
This was an exercise in using a CNC embroiderer and laser cutter on a single project. The seeds are embroidered. A fun solution to a problem was cutting the pattern while still in the embroidery hoop - otherwise if you took the fabric out of the hoop the fabric would shrink and throw off registration.
Smaller 2d cutouts with a clip on the back make for a good car fragrance holder on a fan. With the fan turned on you get a hugging "Fanimation", a la the paper E Honda with slapping hands.
