PC Engine Duo R and XRGB Mini problem

I'm getting a slightly shaky picture when using my RGB modded PC engine duo with the XRGB mini. What settings do you guys recommend for the PC engine duo-r on the mini? would this cable fix the problem? http://www.retrogamingcables.com/mi...ni-adapter--euroscart-with-sync-stripper.html

If I remember correctly, the default settings on the mini should be fine (sync level 9)

What rgb amp are you using?


You shouldn't need a sync stripper to use a properly rgb modded PCE with a Mini.

no idea what rgb amp I'm using. I purchased my RGB modded duo R from doujindance from ebay. Picture is fine when connected to a CRT. picture is only shaky when using it on my Samsung LED with the xrgb mini

That's the problem! You need to have purchased your amp from Broken!

Does it get shaky all the time or in just certain levels?

I remember having that problem at first when made a transistor-based amp.
While playing Darius, it shook the whole moon stage ( maybe coz it was darker? ) and was pretty stable in the rest
of the game.
SF2 CE had some random line shaking on Ken's stage.
I've placed a sync cleaner in the circuit and it went fine.

I got a different amp ( the one from Sega ) and everything runs fine in any TV so far.

Just play around with the sync level - might need to bump it up a bit.
