That's a special edition, not a revision. I own the blue version and it's my favorite piece of my collection.

The 360 S model is pretty nice, seeing as unlike the original, it isn't built like complete shit.

I own a black Twin Famicom and I usually use my toploader Famicom instead because I can use detachable controllers with extensions. Still a great looking system though.

I like the way the NES-101 looks but it's lack of anything other than RF coaxial I don't like. Other than that I like the PSP-2000 above the other models. And I like the X-eye.

By alternate version, I would think he means a hardware revision, not just a pink shell.

The 1st batches of JPN & ASN DCs had liquid cooling pipes inside. Subsequent katana boards did not. Bit of a stretch, I know...;^)
