I wish I could post this under the 'news and rumors' subforum but there are no reports about this sequel.

Anyway, I'd like to make a survey

1) would you like to see Last Blade 3?

a.1) For which consoles ?
a.2) Up to how much would pay for the game?
a.3) Which improvements does the game need for the current generation ?
a.4) Should the second game be re-released before its sequel ?
a.5) Would you back a kickstart project of the game ?

If we get many positive replies I shall report to SNKP (and get ignored by them haha)

@gum_drops It'd nearly 'utopic' to see this game being released.
Even then you chose the most unlikely of the gaming platforms. You sir are quite a dreamer (but that's a good thing...)

We can hope and dream all we want, but the odds of it happening are close to nil. The best we can expect is another Samurai Shodown game, and I highly doubt that will even happen.

Last year was the 20th anniversary of samurai shodown... and no NEW game...

The purposes are:

-To 'remember' the community this game needs a sequel
- To get support and spread the word about its sequel

Last Blade will celebrate its 20th birthday in 3 years.
It's time enough to make a good sequel if they start the production this year.

PS: Don't you care about online options ? You did not mention it.

If they didnt do anything for the 20th anniversary for samsho I doubt they well do anything for a series that is less well known.
