Fantastic match with Holland worthy winners, Van Persie's diving header was outstanding with a peach of a ball from Blind.

Thought we did well, pushed them the whole way. Looked like we were going to level for a while there.

Anyway, we will now prepare to be bound, gagged and raped by Spain and Teh Netherlands. :lolz:

Even though we went down 3-1 that is the best match I have seen them play since the 2006 world cup. They seemed to kind of know what they were doing in attack for once.

Where's that ratson?!

I'm here, still a bit in positive shock from what happened last night.
I was under the impression that Spain would win before it started.
Man was i wrong.
We beat the crap out of the World Champion!

Both Chile and Holland had great wins.

I actually felt really sorry for the Aussies. They fought all they could and deserved a little more.
The 3rd goal came against the tide of the game.
Now they're gonna have a hard time against the supposedly harder teams, but even if they lose,
I got myself turned into a "Socceroo" fan :)

As for Holland expressive victory, it's hard for Spain, but it's what happen when someone is too stubborn
to the point to put Casillas as their GK.
Mourinho spotted a true weakness and loss of focus in Iker and sent him to the subs bench.
Everyone wanted his head because of that.
Ancelotti isn't dumb and did the same.

How come a non regular GK on his domestic league can be on the national team starting lineup?
Every other Spanish goalies are in better shape than him.
The Champion's league final Atletico Madrid corner kick goal was also another one of Casillas dumbshit.

Don't get me wrong, Spain is yet far from dead. They can still make it. But without Casillas.
At this point he's nothing but a product of Madrid's press.

really interesting how far Casillas comes out of position these days. Same shit led to Godin's goal in the CL finals.
