Holy Crap, Sony has opened the flood gates and expanded the games that are compatible for the vita. A ton of Ps One and PSP games are now available.

If you were lucky to get the spyro trilogy and crash trilogy for 99 cents yesterday then you are in luck they now work on the vita!

My favorite PSP title Midway Arcade Treasures Extended Play is PLAYABLE!!! I now have all of my PSP collection on my vita!

Neo Gaf is buzzing about it and reddit as well. Its a TON of games!

Thanks for the heads up . It always frustrated me that the backward compatibility was selective. Nice to see they are working to make it better.

I was glad to see the Angry Birds PS-Mini game was downloadable finally. I got this on the PSP a long time ago and was bummed to see it wouldn't work on the Vita. It was irritating that the only version you could get for the vita was like $40 where as the Mini version is $3 or $4.

Thanks for the heads up. I just downloaded all the SNK Minis I paid for on the PS3... most of them previously were "incompatible" with the Vita even though they were originally advertised as cross buy

And just to clarify there are now 15 SNK "minis' titles that you can d/l on the Vita, out of the 25 total that are availible for the PS3. Not sure why they all aren't on the Vita list...

Edit: 8 out of the remaining 10 work if you DL them on the PS3 and copy them over as PSP/other applications. For some reason it doesn't recognize Vangaurd and Sasuke Vs Commander.

Luckily I got what I wanted. I was on the fence on getting Twisted Metal Head on since I sold my physical copy...But eh it was fun while it lasted....

Oh man..this sucks. I downloaded Crash 2 as a "proof of concept" but had all the Spyro & Crash games from the flash sale purchased...but didn't have the space on my card.

I hope this comes back in some form down the road.

I have 2 32 gb cards on 2 vitas....they're both full with different games....I don't think 64gb cards are big enough anymore... lower the price and give us 128 :(

so what's the deal with this? There were a shit-ton of games added to the store and now they're all gone?

Yeah, there was a glitch where you can buy psone and psp titles that were previously not able to be played on the vita. You would buy them on your PS3 or computer, goto the vita's playstation store and then to your download list. The games that you bought would show up with a download button next to it.

Sure hope Sony brings over bigger memory cards or at least does a significant price drop. These new proprietary memory cards make the memory sticks look dirt cheap... At least you could buy a cheaper brand. I'd buy a cheaper Vita memory card any day at the cost of significantly slower transfer speeds. Another reason I prefer my 3DS I can run even a decent 16GB SD card for dirt cheap...
