What line should I cut in? Is the 5v or 12v? Or both?

You need to wire both 5v and 12v, you can buy a switch that will do both at the same time. You can mount the switch anywhere you want, the Atomiswave is really flexible, I put it on the back corner.

Ok, thanks for the info. I had planned to put this:

But I think it would not work, because it has a NC contact and NO contact, but I need to have two contacts NO, like this, right?:
