I did this years ago and I thought it's about time to tell you about it...
Remember playing Fatal Fury on the NeoGeo CD and listening to the exact same soundtrack as the cartridge version? Yeah, that sucked back in the days. Thanks to the japanese people who release game-soundtracks to pretty much every game, there's an audio-cd called GAROU DENSETSU ~ IMAGE ALBUM ~
So.. if you are a lucky owner of this soundtrack cd and the original game disc you can easily change the soundtrack and create your own special edition of the game.
There's one tiny catch: The integrity and data-layout of your repro has to match the original game cd exactly to play on the real hardware. Please refer to this guide if you want to dump your gunuine copy to your harddisc: http://redump.org/guide/cddumping/
So you have successfully dumped your game disc... now, open your favourite wave-editor and open the audio-files from your dump. Replace their contents with the new audio but make sure to keep length, file size and format exacly as it was.
When your done, either burn your new cd and insert it into your console or mount it with daemon tools e.g. to play it on your favourite ngcd emulator. Double check the LBA entries match the original cd.
I'm looking forward to hear your opinion on this
PS: If you didn't like Fatal Fury back in the days then adding a new soundtrack will not make you like the game more... but if you're a fan I bet this will give you a big smile on your face. (Turn on the sound now!)
Here are my corresponding artwork-files for quality-printing of an insert and label:

Download Back Cover @300dpi/PDF

Download CD Label @300dpi/PDF

Cut the printed paper along the lines to make it fit into a jewel case box.
