Remember, you do not need to own the systems in question at the time of purchase to obtain these games...you just need to be a member of PS Plus or Xbox Live. Just "Buy" the games from the PS Store or Xbox Store websites to have them as part of your queues.

Just got Bioshock Infinite on PS+ and can't believe I had passed on it before now. I do the "buy" for everything that goes free on the PS3 and don't download it just in case I decide I want to play it later when it's no longer free. They need to hurry up and put fucking Dragon's Crown on there, I want to play that game.

Only draw back is it requires a hour+ update

Oh good looking out, I can stack up on those PS4 games before I get the console.
Though the PSN website is super laggy for me, is anyone else having any issue with their search engine ?

On another freebie note, Skull Girls Encore is free for anyone who had purchased the prior version. The color packs and a DLC character are also free, but this will all only be for a month.

Just go straight to claim your game and fill out the info. You 'buy" the game through Amazon, apply the promotion and then either download from Amazon ro go to:

Your Account > Your Games and Software Library

Most likely Tuesday is going to bring ModNation Racers free for PS Vita.

Anyone looking for some cheap Metal Slug thrills on Vita should check out Gunslugs. It's 1.99 right now (with PS Plus)and is good, quick arcadey fun.

I just bought Thomas was Alone when it was on sale for the 14 for 14 promo and it is a cool game. I skipped Lone Survivor for that sale, so that's a nice pick-up. Dead nation looks right up my alley. Wish there was another non-indy PS3 game, but otherwise good line-up.

Microsoft really needs to step it up, PS+ is killing them. Sony gives away games that are less than a year old, MS was giving away Gears of War recently. The first one.

I don't think Microsoft will ever be able to catch up with PS+ due to the way the GWG program is set up. Unlike PS+, games obtained via GWG are yours to keep and play forever, even after your Gold subscription lapses. This key difference most likely results in games being more expensive to secure for the program. That said, they've offered some relatively more recent games lately, such as Sleeping Dogs and Dead Island.

The first Gears of War is a better shooter than anything PS3 has. So I'd say it's a solid.

Finally got onto PS Plus to grab Metro. Figured that was worth the $30 from last Black Friday's Amazon code sale. Lone Survivor will pretty much pay it back fully.

Yeah im definitely grabbing Mercenary Kings and Castle of Illusion for free.

And some people call me a Sony fanboy for stating PS+ is just a better value than XBL.
