Am i the only one who looked at the hard MVS manual for the MV-1C and could not find anywhere it talks about the A and B ports?

Because the 1C doesn't have those ports. Only multislots and the huge 1st gen 1slot has those ports.

Edit:
I can see where this is getting confusing. The thread was originally about the NSM and the CardMasta for 1B and 1C. Later posts people started asking for the original CardMasta. The one I released a few years back. The original one is not compatible with the 1C and 1B, the one I talk about in the first post is still in development.

Ahh I see, I believe I understand now :) Yeah, I was thinking this allowed MV-1Cs to use it and was amazed, as I don't see where they would connect. The only boards I have are 1C, 1B, a 2F, and a 4F. 2F has it built in, 4F I have the card reader PCB, so was wondering how it would work.

Mystery solved. Thanks for the reply.

Hi, I'm new to the forums and recently obtained a MV-1C board to turn into a CMVS system. Looks like I'm a bit late to the game and the chances of me getting my hands on a NeoSaveMasta VMC for the MV-1C system is long gone, so I have started my own project to combine a FRAM and BIOS onto a PLCC socket board. I'm looking for information on if it is possible to still purchase a NeoSaveMasta VMC, or if I should continue my project.
I have many years of experience in electronics and building a new board would be no problem for me, but if it's already done it'll be quicker for me to buy one. I already have the latest Universe BIOS 3.3 in my hands which I purchased a few weeks ago.
This is the MV-1C I bought, Its a little rough looking with a bit of corrosion problems on a bunch of places around the ground vias, but its in working order. I've cleaned it up and replaced the leaky caps. Also will put a CR2032 battery in replacement of the rechargeable coin cell (will disable charge circuit too) Got some conformal coating coming to recoat the missing solder mask around the corroded ground vias too.

I remember buying a generic white PCMCIA card with a massive amount of memory for very little money back in the day. What is the neosavemasta besides a pcmcia memory card? Excuse my ignorance and I didn't want to read this entire thread. I've seen one of these cards for sale before though. Like they can be used with special boards that don't support the memory card?

One hundred percent compatability with all games and no need for a battery. Plus most models made come with a switch to change banks, so it's more like two memory cards in one.

Ahh, I completely forgot about changing batteries. I tried once as a kid and totally failed, tossed the official memory card in the trash. That's really cool about 100% compatibility too, now I want one of these babies. :)

Thanks for the info and not slamming me on my ignorance.
