Circuit for a Jamma Timer needed

    hey all,

Is anyone familiar with a Timer circuit that I can add as a jamma passthrough? I'd like to throw one of my hacks into a cabinet at a laundromat and don't wanna do "free play".

for example, when you buy those crappy console jamma adapters, they have a built in timer to control play time on a cabinet. I'd like to make one of those timer circuits as a pass through.

    always wondered how those work.

do they have a countdown overlay'd on the video output ?
do they reset the console when the time limit is reached ?

    what about systems with dashboards...
how do you get the console to automatically login a user and boot into the game
how do you keep someone from going in the dash board and deleting games , screwing with settings,
    etc...

Basically all I want it to do is lock out the controls after the time has been reached.
