    Philips BDL3215E monitor compatibility question

I'm trying to figure out if the Philips BDL3215E can display RGB via BNC + combined sync using a SCART to BNC cable.

Does anyone have any experience with these monitors?

    Manual is available here: http://www.manualslib.com/download/1...-Bdl3215e.html

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Hard to say.

Looking at the manual, it seems it needs seperate H+V sync rather than a combined composite sync. So you would need a sync separator.

Plus it's unclear if it will sync to 15Khz stuff, however down in the specs it claims the panel will.

My guess is it will, however you might need to come up with a circuit to seperate the sync to drive the monitor.

Thanks for the response. I was thinking the same thing.

I tried Googling but there doesn't appear to be much info out there on these.

    Sync Strike maybe?

Someone correct me if I am wrong but cant the LM1881n be used to separate sync into Horizontal and Vertical sync.
