Köszönöm! ;)
Jól esik amít írsz.
Rengeteg idő és munka van benne és a most készűlő DPTP CMVS 2S-ben is.
Szeretek a Neo Geo-val foglalkozni.

Thank you! ;)
It is good you post.
A lot of time and work in it and just made DPTP CMVS 2S as well.
I like the Neo Geo to deal with.

There is a market for the Neo Geo, but not too large by a small country of ours and economically not comparable to that of Western countries.

In Hungary, many people love these retro games and love to innovate .
The community only say that almost everyone here knows each other quite so good and friendly relationship with the Neo Geo arcade and community;)
Visit the official Hungarian Neo Geo community website and look around.
Many of you will find interesting and would like to welcome everyone .. If you have questions feel free to do it, we will help if we can ... http://neo-geo.hu/

Hi,
Sajnos a fekete festés elkészítése kerül sokba.
A natur lakkozott: 135.000Ft.
1db eladva és 1db van előrendelve.
Magyarországon ez az összeg már drága.

Inkább csak a magam szorakoztatására készítek CMVS gépeket

Unfortunately, the preparation of the black paint is expensive.
The natural lacquer: 135.000Ft.
Sold in 1 piece and 1 is assigned.
In Hungary, this amount has been expensive.

Rather, I make my own amusement machines CMVS

About $ 100 profit on it.

The natural lacquer: 135.000Ft. == 650 AUD == 455 Euro == 385£ == 614$
Matt Black, matt lacquer: 155.000Ft == 747 AUD == 522 Euro == 442£ == 705$

With every appliance:
1 x DPTP CMVS 1S
1 x 5V 3A adapter
1 x Audio, Video Cable
Box with foam lining and certificate of authenticity.
The price paid tax rate.

Hungarian VAT value: 27%

Ouch!

That's more expensive than the AI CMVS!

Anyone have one of these? How do they compare to the AI models?

Bullshit. Next thing you'll tell me is that your NGX adapter had only a $10 profit.

Do not doubt in what he says.
Do not compare prices in your country of ours.
In Hungary, the high taxes and expensive to retro products.

I guess you do not like this: DPTP CMVS 2S

You're barking up the wrong tree guy. You think I don't know first hand the cost to make one of these things?

Úgy látszik nem vagy vele tisztában.
Neked egy jóindulatú gesztusod nem volt még a témában..

Apparently you are not aware of.
You were not even a goodwill gesture on the subject ..

I never said I didn't like your CMVS units. All I said was that you need to stop lying about your profit margin. If you are going to post your profit margin at least be honest about it instead using it as a bait tactic.

How can someone trust you saying that your margin is only $100 when you sold NGX adapters for $55 while others sold them for $20? Are you going to tell me that your "production" cost of the NGX adapters were $45? You took advantage of the market, just like you are doing with these systems.

My only problem with this CMVS is that if someone is going to pay $700 for it, you better start using nicer jacks and get a better 8 pin din socket. For such a nicely done unit, that back panel just kills it. It's like a cow that makes great milk but keeps kicking over the bucket.

NGX Adapter: Always new SD card which I bought included in a 4GB card . ($ 15)
In any case I offered to help you make it for free.
The description can still be found today and I help anyone free who asks it.
$ 55 - $ 15 (new SD Memory Card + 4GB) - $ 6 (minimum postage) = $ 34 profit.
I don't lie. (The adapter is not easy to change)

Just for you, just now DPTP CMVS costs.
Wood material and design costs: 30.000 HUF - 137$
Basic connectors and cables: 10.000 HUF - 46$
Display and electronics and cabels: 10.000 HUF - 46$
Video, audio, controller PCB: 10.000 HUF - 46$
CMVS connector: 2.000 HUF - 9$
Neo Geo MV-1FZS: 15.000 HUF - 25.000 HUF - 68$-114$
Painting: 20.000 HUF - 91$
Cartonbox and others: 15.000 HUF - 68$
Incremental costs (raw): 10.000 HUF - 46$
Work cost: 23.000 HUF - 105$

You didn't offer me anything. So don't say that as I already knew how to make the adapter and were selling them to people for $20 shipped. I never advertised it as I didn't want to get bombarded with requests.

Some of those costs make me laugh. You are either lying or the worst shopper when it comes to sourcing parts. If I provided you your parts it would bring down your cost per unit down to around ~$625.

The $625 was for the matte black model. Don't flatter yourself.

When you buy it by the gallon. Some people forget I used to paint cars and houses, too. So I know how much paint costs. For a CMVS you can get multiple coats of coverage from a half pint of paint.

Anyway, he can charge whatever he likes I guess, people will vote with their wallets at the end of the day, if they think it's not worth it they will just buy a cheaper one. It probably is a bit steep but the AI ones go for $649 and they seem to still be moving.

It's good for people to make a profit too because it encourages more products and inovation in the scene.
