A new 3DS-centric Nintendo Direct is scheduled to air Wednesday. EU and NA airtimes will be simultaneous. 3pm for EU, 10am EST/9am CST/7am PST for NA.

The odd question is Earthbound. Why next year? Why not just release it this summer?

new Zelda looks great. lots of good announcements for 3DS owners.

But sad there wasnt more Wii U news. Maybe they are holding out for E3?

...but I dunno, with your back against the wall, why hold your cards to close to the chest? Give us something nintendo...

I can't wait for Mario Golf: World Tour. GameStop has it listed to release on July 2nd. Yea 3DS is crazy strong right now.

This was one of the better Nintendo Direct's.

New Zelda looks promising and of course Bravely Default looks amazing, so glad it is coming here.

The 3DS really surprises me. Or rather Nintendo really surprises me. They produce, with the odd one here and there, still the most consistent games line-up in the industry. And most gamers seem to like them, even as they grow older. Best of all – they don't produce a ton of games. So everyone can play most of the games without getting stressed out.

It's funny how Nintendo can go years without doing anything I really care too much about then in one day make me a believer again.

LttP2? Fuck yes, sign me up. The first one might be my favorite game of all time or at least top five.

For earthbound, is that only wii u vc? (I just have a wii)
Not sure why I care, since I have it SNES
and emulated on just about whatever.
I guess I do want it getting attention
and giving the last mother game a chance to come out.

pretty sure it's a VC release only on the Wii U.

gah fuck. That game is going to tarnish LttP. it already looks 'meh'

needed more WiiU love, but i just upgraded to 3DS XL. Can't complain that much.

It sounds like Earthbound is only on the Wii U Virtual Console, nothing about a 3DS version. I hope everybody that owns a Wii-U will check it out, its well worth it. Plus just to shove it in Nintendo's face that there's fans out there, but knowing sales figures it's not going to make a dent. I'd love to see it do well so they can get up off their asses and release Mother 1 and do something about Mother 3. Even though I own the game on my SNES I will be buying it and playing through it again to support it. I love the new Link to the Past and being able to turn into a chalk drawing and walk onto the walls to solve puzzles. I guess I'll wait till they make the Toys R Us bundle pack with a special colored XL and the game.

3DS is the console of the moment. so many great games. Luigi Mansion is amazing, a fantastic game on any platform.

So that new 3DS Mario vs Donkey Kong game is some kind of Pipe Dream remake? Oh man, everytime they anounce a new Mario vs. Donkey, I'm like fuck yeah! Then they post pics and videos... Oh well, I guess won't see a real sequel to the GBA version anytime soon. I really loved that version. The puzzle games were cool (expecially miniland mayhem) but they weren't Donkey Kong games to me. Good old plateformers is really what it's all about imo.

I have to agree with NeoSneth, lttp2 looks like crap but if the gameplay is up there, I'll definitely grab this game.
