There are a few hidden paths in the game where items are located. I wonder if there is a way to get to that door... Or if it's just some mistake or tile left behind during development. Having the ability to exploit the game's rules may definitely help find some odd stuff, though. Pretty much try to run past the end of all stages. Who knows what will be found ;)

It's strange... something is missing here, i never saw a trick like this on the Neo-Geo, the "dual jump" trick it is not a program error, i enjoy this game very much but, what i think is that the game was not polished (maybe a tight deadline?)... I dont know...

Updates:

ELTA: jumps more than two times (max here 4 times)
SHINOBI: jumps more than two times (max here 3 times)
DRAGON: I BELIEVE DOES NOT WORK (???)
WATERMAN: jumps AND jumps AND jumps AND jumps (max here +-8 times?)
SAMURAI: I BELIEVE DOES NOT WORK (???)
RAIJIN: DOES NOT WORK (???)
POSEIDON: jumps more than one time (max here 2 times)

*The trick varies according to the character:

ELTA: JUMP, FIRE.... JUMP,FIRE....JUMP, FIRE.... (slowly)
SHINOBI: SAME AS ELTA
WATERMAN:JUMP, FIRE. JUMP, FIRE. JUMP, FIRE (frenetic)
POSEIDON: its hard to do but it works.... Elta style

Same here. But what's funny (before discovering this thread) is I was just randomly playing/screwing around when I pulled it off. I thought it was crazy, but I didn't have any success thereafter either related to my bad timing or not exactly knowing how I accomplished the double jump in the 1st place. Time to try again ;)

I was going to pick up my copy and play it only to find out I sold it along my 2nd homesystem backup unit.

I thought at the time, I had seen everything in it.

Well, need to grab another copy.

could be good to look into the code to see if it's a glitch or if it's there intentionally ?

the hidden statue in the 1st level is beautifull....
i can't wait to see what other things this double-jump can open.

it seems to be a "highway leading to a foreign space" :buttrock:

I've searched for something different in the "C files" (for new sprites) ... but i just found only a small WTF... :D
