The Japanese version on PS2 is the same as the Atomiswave. US PS2 is the same as Dreamcast version

I'll see what I can do. How can anyone using them not look like Geordi LaForge from Star Trek The Next Generation?

Bought that one on ebay using "best offer", but ebay still lists it as sold for 1000gbp for some reason.

... but yeah, it's still a dumb amount of money to spend for a game...

... that said, that's also true for a LOT of AES stuff (so I'm happy to just buy MVSes, AES is out of my price range).

Why is that version of Guilty Gear so rare?

They didn't make a lot of the cartridges :|
Not sure why though, it's a good game. Maybe they wanted to sell Guilty Gear Isuka instead, which came out for AW at the same time and is very common (and a much worse game).

GGX 1.5 was only sold outside Japan, and considering how the western arcade scene was all but existent during that time; they obviously didn't sell well.

I have been looking for one for a few years now, one sold on YAJ a few months back for about $350. It would have been less but I got into a bidding war with someone and ultimately gave it up. Because honestly, I'd prefer to play one of the many newer revisions on the Naomi.

Actually, I lied. It was only $250 and included the motherboard.

That's a good price with mobo. Its been on ebay a few times for £250 cart only but that was too much imo. Was expecting to pay £100 a few years back but it has gone up a lot.

Not necessarily gaming related per se, but picked up an Alienware 17R5 laptop this past Friday. Looking forward to getting back into Steam, 3D, and coding.

Regarding Guilty Gear X, another cart is on ebay now. Also for a lot of money though.

Another reason not to trust eBay sale prices.

The worst of it is playing with a Dreamcast controller. The game is hard enough as it is.

Vagrant story is nice to have. It kind of flew under the radar at release but it was so fun.

Who cares about load times? The frame rate is under 30fps compared to the original, which is a perfectly sharp 60. It's not only visually a disaster, but also affects the controls, which are sloppy because of that and the DC controller has nothing to do with it. Look, I hate to be a frame rate whore, but with Völgarr's demanding gameplay this technical issue is essential. Do you know how much work it means to render a game in 60 frames and how much faster a port is finished, if it isn't? Roughly six months to a year. A costly difference, and one that shows what to think of this port.

I agree, It's total shit. I burned a copy awhile back and was pissed that I wasted a perfectly good Taiyo Yuden disc on that turd. Game is choppy as fuck.

Volgarr is a cool game but avoid the DC version.

It was worth dropping on my GDEMU and trying it for free. It’s not great, but I’m not going to bitch about a free game. Geez people.

No. It’s missing the PCB as well. It’s a project, but it’ll turn out nicely.
