Got my first Neo-Geo cab
I've been looking for a while but the prices were too steep
got this for 150 from an old laundry mat.
It has a ton of water damage and i'm in the process of restoring it.

Got my first Neo-Geo cab
I've been looking for a while but the prices were too steep
got this for 150 from an old laundry mat.
It has a ton of water damage and i'm in the process of restoring it.
It looks pretty good. And for $150 it feels like a pretty safe gamble. You can still sink a good amount of money into it and still be ahead of the game.
Does it boot up?

Well the power supply was a solid piece of rust so I removed it right away.
The board boots to video ram errors... I may post in tech support eventually but i have a second 2 slot with corrosion I'm gonna try to get working or use it for parts.
Heres where I'm at now after days of body work paint and primer. I think the color came out pretty close too.

Corrosion must be a terrible thing to try and fix on electronics. But keep at it. There is lot of great help to be found right here on these forums.

I also got a blue LED and swapped the green one.
I am done buying for the playstation. I can't think of anything worthwhile that I don't have. It crossed my mind that I could get quite a bit of ROI for it right now if I thought about selling, and I am scheming.
I don't get into arcade sticks usually, but that one is awesome. Very fucking cool!
