Seems like you're the one battling with your sexuality "FilthyRear", with the high school level attempt at a diss and what not. I appreciate the compliment nonetheless though.
Edit: Also, where in the world would you have seen a picture of me recently? I haven't posted one on here in eons. You part of some of the Facebook Neo-Geo groups? They have some great groups there, specifically "Neo Cabs and MVS Collectors"... I've run into a few members from here on that group too. Good bunch of people.

I honestly can't believe seeing a Monkey Ball scoop in 2021...
Hope you disinfected that analog banana.![]()
Stroked it off for a long while with my hands covered in Purell.
Seriously though, didn't know these panels were that rare until I bought it along with the cab. I guess I lucked out since I now don't have to track one down after the fact.
Monkey Ball and the many great shmups for the system are basically the reason why I went through with the Naomi. Also... some of the sports games are grand if you've got a few peeps to play with. I still like Neo-Geo the best but the Naomi is more modern so a wider range of people will get a kick out of playing it when they drop by.

Yeah it got pretty dark. We got super stoned watching it so eventually it became noise but it’s great looking and I enjoyed what we saw before we got too high & drunk.
I snagged them because their relation to Neo Geo, the N64 Banjo Tooie is my girlfriends - she’s really into BK and is a known BK speed runner. And so collecting the physical carts was something she wanted even though she just plays the games off an Everdrive.
Yo, just noticed you're in Seattle too.
My free time during quarantine has pretty much been getting stoned, playing games and watching random obscure shit as well.
We should meet up sometime, I'm in the Capitol Hill area. You close? Feel free to drop by and play my cabs anytime by the way whenever Covid fades out, would be dope to get some two player going. Moved here for work just before lockdown happened so I know virtually nobody around these parts. lol
Also, I have a good buddy who's super into speedrunning and knows a lot of people in the speedrunning community. He's from Seattle originally, wondering if he may know your GF. Does she have a YouTube or Twitch channel for her Banjo runs?

This will be pretty meaningless to anyone who wasn't a D&D player back in the day.
I picked up a signed copy of "Mazes and Monsters".
I have no idea who Hazel is though, but all the best to her just the same.

Scooped up some NOS jamma harnesses, one looks like old school happ, and the other is a legit hirose jamma harness, same ones you'd find in the astro /new astro. NOS Peter Chou also. Scooped all 3 for about 50 shipped.
PixelJunkie hooked it up with some free scoops, I can alway use more windy 2 parts.

In my opinion Neo candy cabs are very hard to find if you want them original. Most have been repainted, have added buttons to the CP, etc. I rarely see them pop up for sale anymore either, regardless of condition. I could be looking in the wrong places though. I feel most people that have them today are hardcore fans and it’s pretty hard to get them to sell unless you grossly overpay.
When I first joined the forums here and they were a lot more readily available since Arcade Infinity was still around I was also a lot younger and always missed them because I either couldn’t afford them, didn’t have the space because I was sharing a flat with many roommates, or someone swooped in on them before me.
I did have a candy cab when I was younger at one point though, settled on an Impress I got from a member here named 300Wins because I couldn’t find a Neo cab at the time, kept getting beat out by someone who saw the sale first etc. It was still great though... Had that rocking with Alien vs. Predator. Sold that to Jorge (forgot his exact username) when I went to college though many years back since my dorm didn’t have the space. I’d love to have an Impress again as well.
So yea, I guess I’ve been actively searching off and on for 15 years or so and have always wanted a few but they always eluded me for one reason or another. Now it’s the right time of my life where I was finally able to secure a couple.
I’m sure I’ll be on the hunt for more cabs soon, already addicted after getting these. Mainly after an Impress or some other Capcom candy cab going forward to have a dedicated machine to play CPS2 on but would never pass up another nice Neo one. Definitely need to move to a bigger space first though if I want to continue with all that.
For now just enjoying the hell out of these. Have had Ninja Masters, Kizuna Encounter, Twinkle Star Sprites, Shock Troopers, Blazing Star and Metal Slug 3 on constant rotation.
You have any cabs yourself?

I have:
Egret 2 x2
Egret 3
Windy 2 x2
Madonna
Canary
Neo Sc-19
Sega T-13 table
Vewlix L ami
Vewlix diamond
I’ve had others in the past. The majority of my cabs have come to me as projects and I fix them up. Panels can be found or made, panting cabs is something that will have to be done eventually, as they fade and yellow over time. TLDR, you could have gotten those cabs a while ago and fixed them up yourself. The canary is the only of my cabs that took me years of search and it was a beater.
Id received it like this:
Finished it:
Did the same work on the neo 25 next it to before I sold it.
