I might be in the Market for a modded Saturn. Would love to have a rhea modded one bit that's probably not happening anytime soon. Hit me up and let me know.

Forgot to post this from last weekend, 37 pounds worth of broken japanese saturns. So far 7 repaired. The others might need replacement parts and all of them are getting the power supply rebuild treatment due to age :P

That is pretty cool. I don't think I've ever bought 37 pounds of anything, especially not consoles.

My Japanese Saturn stopped working, think the laser is gone. Let me know if you have a 3.7 pound gray saturn available for purchase, or maybe I can send mine to you for repair.

Goodluck getting the Saturns working again.

Picked up a local cocktail cab for a jamma project. $40 can't go wrong. I can do the cosmetic stuff in house, but the wiring and fixing the monitor is going to be a challenge.

Pros:
Zero Burn monitor, Cool glass art

Cons:
Lots of rust, looks like its been beat up, monitor has vertical collapse, needs rewiring.

Overall should be a neat project. Will keep you guys posted as I make progress on it.

Two of my favourite MVS games.

I also picked a Seibu Cup Soccer PCB (it's not properly emulated, and it seems that never will be because of the encryption).

Sorry for the quality of the images. Taking photos of a CRT is a pain in the ass.

Picked up in Tokyo a week ago, mainly Trader/Mandarake.
Considering that I had less than two hours, I'm pretty satisfied.

I'm taking a trip down the retro-computing rabbit hole. My first computer when I was 9 years old was a Tandy Color Computer 3, but I always lusted after an Amiga because of how cool its games and apps looked in magazines. Childhood wish fulfilled!

Awesome! Congrats man!

The great sequel to SpellCaster, TFIII, Gate of Thunder, 60fps smooth OutRun, Garegga, Strider (play it with auto-fire on!), the gorgeous Castlevania remake and my most favorite Mega Drive port Hellfire. So many great titles, congrats! ...on your impeccable taste ;).

So far its just been removing rust and spiderwebs. The vertical collapse is a common problem so it should be fixable by the locals. There is more rust than anything else in this cabinet. It'll be fun once its all done.

Got this from Barte last week. Been playing a lot of it over the weekend:
