I just returned from Chile for holiday and many Venezuelans work there. Many rely on remittance from families and relatives overseas. I see Money Grams and Western Unions all over Santiago where many foreign labors send money back to Venezuela, Bolivia, Haiti, etc.

It's true, my brother went to live in Chile, he works there and he sends money to my mother, many Venezuelans do it and it's how they can survive the crisis.

BTW! great game Twinkle Star Sprites. :)

Vincewy, May I ask how much that TSS cart set you back?

I looked my credit card bill it set me at $555 USD after shipping. I paid $375 in 1999 for AES, even if you factor in inflation it's still slightly less than $555 today.

Some claimed I overpaid but I watched this game going from high $300 to $800 for a full kit over the last 12 months. It's the only game left in my must have list (I already have all AES games but still want dups in different language versions and/or MVS copies).

Same can be said about Pochi & Nyaa, I paid $275 for a full kit 3 years ago and people said I overpaid and now look at how much this thing goes for, if it's ever available.

Random ass find, but found these at goodwill for $4 total. 1 sealed Taiyo Yuden CD spindle and one that is half used + 50 sony unused cdrs. Not sure if these are the ones people jizz over cause they are made in japan and have been folded over 100 times to ensure the proper light reflectivity.

Gotz to save my laser sled from the thermal cycles.

The Super Everdrive v2 arrived today. I am yet to test it. My PAL snes now has the 50/60Hz switch mod but sadly the tv doesn't accept the sync in ntsc mode (59.54Hz) so I have to run it in PAL mode. I'll check that first and then probably get an NTSC-J console for 60Hz gaming.

The Lynx on the left I already had, but it has a terrible screen. The right hand one is in much better shape. Will probably keep the older one for backup/parts.
I always wanted the carbon fiber looking NGPC, so was psyched when this lot came with one.
NGPC was a really good system, but tried too hard to compete with a system that was already nearing EOL. And firmly entrenched. What could've been...
Most people I show it to have never even seen one before.

Finally bit the bullet and picked this lil beauty up the other day.

Never seen a box like it and rather liked it over the normal gold one so I finally got a Saturn!

Interesting. I didn’t know Viking Child was on Lynx. I have the MS-DOS version called The Prophecy.

Nice! Is that a former rental unit? The case makes me think it is.

Sell that trash, buy an Everdrive and play SMS games on it with a controller that isn't a squishy turd.

When in the hell did Sonic Adventure 2 (DC) get so damn expensive?

I just picked it up (along with SA1, Tomb Raider and about 50 audio CD's) for $5.

I almost didn't take the lot.
