Nice! Life Force is one of my favorite NES games. I'm not into Amibos, but I'd be down for a Cloud one if I saw it at the store.

So i recall your video on the SNES first holiday lineup and remember your praise for this game and its predecessor. Saw it at the store and decided to give it another shot.

Also im not into amiibo either, only have a few but the way Ryu and Cloud look was too good to pass up. Used some credit to it, so can't argue free.

Yeah, if I'm being honest I'd probably grab Ryu, too. In both cases I'd take em out of the packaging and just sit em on the shelf though.

That video game store owes me some commission, it sounds like. :P Enjoy Life Force!!

Got this in from Yaton today,

A super filthy but working Nanao MS-2931! Couldn't resist it at his prices so now it's off to get scrubbed with detergent, blasted with the garden hose, baked in the oven and recapped!

Thrift store find. Paid a few bucks for it. It cleaned up super nice. Inside was surprisingly clean too. Boots up just fine and has Windows XP. Now I just need a PS/2 keyboard and mouse or adapters.

Not really sure what I want to do with it yet. I have some old PC games I wanna dick around with. It would be cool to see some emulators running on it too.

Anything good left by it's last owner? My favorite part of finding old machines is looking through people's crap they didn't delete.

I saw that for the longest but couldn't figure out what tube it was for. Is that for the blast tube?

Yeah the MS-293x series don't share the exact yoke (not sure about tube, probably the same) but very very close in specs so they are interchangeable. I'll be swapping out my 2930 for this fancy thing until it inevitably dies.

So it begins....outgrew my 12x8, then my 16x16, now onto their biggest with 32 inputs and 32 outputs: Extron Crosspoint 450 Plus 3232 HVA (dealers price in 2005 was $21,075.65!, MSRP $33,190.00).

Don't have nearly that many consoles to plug in, but I loop all my converters, scalers, transcoders, etc. back into the Crosspoint so that takes up a lot of slots.

My x68000 Ace that arrived a few weeks ago was DOA. The battery leaked and caused a lot of damage on the daughterboard, and it seems that a few of the TTL logic chips on the main board are bad as well.

The Ace is on my workbench for now, but a backup has arrived today with this X68030. And this one boots up and runs and everything!!!
