So, I thought I would share my game room project. Here is a quick video of what it currently looks like, and what I propose to do with the space.

I'll keep this thread moving as the room progresses.

EDIT: UPDATE!

Looks nice man, it'll look even better after you have your stuff displayed on shelves.

Looks good so far. I'm interested to see what you do for storage and such, I have a ~55sqft area I'm setting up as a gameroom and I'm pretty sure I'm at least cramming wall shelves on to every spare bit of wall.

Nice stuff dude! A concise yet very dense room setup you got there :)

It's painted baby blue so you don't have to paint it when your wife tells you shes pregnant and you have to get rid of all your game stuff! PERFECT!!

You are certainly maximizing that space. Proper stands and shelves will help with the things that are a little more cluttered and improvised.

*cough* So, wheres the Bama stuff? Or do you have a separate sports room?

I am going to keep the decor strictly game related.

**UPDATE**

So I have been trying to find a layout that I like, and i think I have found it. I picked up one of those IKEA Solsta sofas, which is PERFECT for the game room!

Now I need to find where to store this excess junk

The walls are still bare, but I wanted to find a good layout before I started hanging shelves.

It definitely looks cleaner and better organized than before. Comfort adds a lot to a game room, as well. I'm digging the progress. Can't wait to see the room with shelves/posters/other stuff on the walls.

looking good. Ever thought about mounting some shelves on the walls? Would get you some extra space for consoles/games and can also help decorate...

Still have my 1200 bought it with my first ever pay cheque quality machine especially as all my friends had 500s :)
