Once again, no prob Chris wink . When looking through the list I made, it would seem that one (or possibly a few) people have the wrong power supply listed. Check out the one I have in bold below, don't you find it odd that a NEO-POW adaptor would be stuck in the middle of those PRO-POW ones?

Ok, let's get this straight people. We DO NOT need to know what power supply you have with your console. We DO need to know what power supply is designated for your console (Written on the sticker located at the bottom of your console).

<img src="http://members.aol.com/porygon000/neosticker" alt=" - " />

The reason for this is because too many power supplies have been swapped over the years. (Hopefully your power supply matches the sticker on the bottom of your console)

If your power supply does in fact match the power supply listed on the sticker, then please list all the sticker info and the power supplies input and output info. Thanks
I encourage all of you who haven't posted your info to please do so. It would really be greatly appreciated. :)

Is there any way possible that we can have this thread moved to the Tech Support section? I think it would get much more attention that way.

My power supply must have been swapped. :(

My power supply says: Pro-Pow
91-25909
AC100V
50/60Hz 38VA
DC5V 3A

My serial number is: 046273 and it also says to only use Pro-Pow 2 power supplies with my system. I have a Pro-Pow 1, do you think it matters that much?

I also have a PRO-POW2 with one of my system.

I started a topic one with all the JPN models of AC... PRO-POW and PRO-POW2 are almost identical, PRO-POW3 totally different...

My Power cable is Pro-Pow-UL

Is this the correct adaptor or do I need the one munus the UL?

Will it do any damage to the system?

NGH JPN system

Serial : 180906
model: NEO-0
use ONLY PRO-POW3 Adaptor.

i dont use original adaptor and its an All Region multi voltage and polarity adaptor so mine is set as this for my Neo:

input: 100-260v AC
output: 9V DC
1.5a (maximum adaptor can handle)
Negative Tip
2.1mm x 2.5mm plug.

if you live in australia Tandy Electronics sells all region multi voltage and polarity adaptors for $39.99 AUD
worth it for old game consoles that dont use adaptors eg DC,PS2 and ect.

My System

I have a AES-AEC it says to use a PRO POW E AC adapter but i got it with an Nintendo AC adapter model: NES-002ED input 220V 50Hz 17W Output : AC9V 12VA. The Plug fits in the back pefrect but i am afraid to plug it in to test if it works for fear of damaging it. Does anyone know if this PSU is OK for the NEO-GEO AES Serial # 062519? I have searched a long time to get one of these and i wold hate to damage it if it is not already fried. The guy i bought it from said it worked and he was military so i trusted him.

Use PRO-POW

Although my console is CIB, it has a non-OEM AC adapter. I don't know anything about it other than it powers my system. According to my manual, the system uses a PRO-POW AC 100V (DC 5.3V) 8W power supply. But being in the USA, Is it more suitable to use the PRO-POW-UL since it has the bump to 120V ?
