The only non-Sony CRT to be joining the fold (aside from the cabs)

Picked this up from our very own BigTinz. Gateway Destination DL27-1 VGA monitor. The X68000 will look GREAT on this thing!

Now I just need to haul it back to Texas...

I have one of those. Dreamcast w/ a VGA box looks amazing on this. Also systems hooked up via an XRGB.

Newest addition to the family, an Ikegami TM20-80RH, fresh out the box and ready for testing. This 20 incher is fully encased in metal, weighs in at about 85lb and was manufactured in February 2006. It's got more features than I've seen on any other monitor including built in test patterns and three different file banks which allow different settings to be saved to memory. And come on, how badass is that pull out remote board?

And yes, a NOS PVM-20M2MDU + NOS JVC TM-2000SU

That is awesome!

Thread title needs to be changed to "CRT Lover's Club" or "BBM Fetish Thread".

Nice, you really can't beat $1. Had I have been in your neck of the woods I could have saved $100 in shipping on that Ikegami. Seems high end RGB monitors are a dime a dozen in Cali.

Much like cabs, they grow on trees out there.

With so much CRT love around I was wondering when that may happen.

More the merrier.

i noticed that the pvm doesnt have normal av hookups so how do you hook the consoles up to it that just have normal AV hookups?

There are adapters you can buy at radio shack that let you plug in component & composite video.

Funny you should say that, i own 7 acres of land near the top of a mountain( XB74 has been here for a session on the AES ), and i am planning on building a new home here into the side of the mountain. So ill be half underground ;) Im all on solar power with battery backup and tank water here, so im ready for anything.

Ive allready got enough CRTs stock piled, 4 CRT projectors, 3 full sets of spare boards for one NEC, a full set of spare NEC tubes for that machine, 2 spare greens and a spare red for the other NEC, 2x Sony 1001QM sets with a couple spares, and 4 direct view CRTs....

Ive even got 2 spare Harman/Kardon amps... Just in case ;)
