Why not VGA-to-BNC?

Like I stated earlier, I have a (actually 3) 4 - way SCART switcher that was modified to output to VGA

I'd rather have that rather than BNC connectors since I can hook u up only one system that way.

I have 12 systems that output SCART, so I connect three 4 - way SCART switchers to my 6 - way VGA selector. And then I have my DC, XBOX, and Gamecube connected to the remaining 3 (of 6) VGA inputs.

So I actually have 15 systems on one monitor :)

Does anyone know of a thread that is dedicated to RGB screenshots?

What is the best advice for taking good quality RGB screenshots?

I don't know of a entire thread dedicated to it... I thought I did a pretty good job of covering it here.

Ok thanks. When I get a VGA to 25-pin cable for my PVM -2030, I plan to contribute with some screenshots. I have literally gone through this whole thread and downloaded every RGB screenshot, since I enjoy a lot of the submissions. Especially this one of Super Metroid 3 on a PVM-2030, taken by someone from GamesX:

I haven't seen one of those Mitsubishi monitors since I was in Middle School. Does it accept RGB via BNC?

RGB 1 is via BNC, and RGB 2 is some weird 15-pin connector that I never used.

Advice for screen shots using a digital camera.

Image capture equipment will not get the nice scan lines from a CRT screen, and those scan lines are considered a onscreen form of image artifacts (which you miss with a capture equipment).

Here some links I think would help.

I also experiment with White Balancing.
I would treat the TV as a Fluorescent light source for the purposes of white balance, but not all screens are the same.

I also avoid as much natural sunlight in the room as possible as digital cameras will want to use the ambient sun light for auto settings and not the TV screen.

I've got a 14M2U, and I'm trying to use my 360 with the component inputs, but I'm just getting a big green mess. What am I missing? The manual says it supports component, but I don't have any experience with PVMs so I'm not sure what the issue is. Is it a sync problem?

You may need to go into the menu and switch from RGB to component for that set of inputs.

Little project I've been working off and on for a couple of weeks... got a spare ArcadeVGA card and popped it into a spare computer. Been tweaking all sorts of things. Got a bunch of arcade, console and PC stuff working pretty nicely.

ArcadeVGA --> VGA to 5 bnc cable --> Sony PVM + bnc T-junction connector for the syncs

Pretty happy with the results, though I can't take a good pic to save my life. Running the PC-98 emulator with Flame Zapper Kotsujin on the PVM

Today's pickup from South Hadley, MA. Only cost $15 bucks and came with the remote (never used).

Sony PVM-2030
