So we started fostering dogs today.

i own 3 (2 were rescues).
the fosters we do become our temporary 4th dog.
we are on our 5th foster pup (4 have been placed in permanent homes).
Because the winter sucks out here and house breaking is constantly being outside we do not foster from nov-april.

The mother was a 30 lb collie mix and he was the runt of that litter. we work with a couple of shelters and it is rare that purebreeds come in. they are all pretty muttley.

Fuck Dogs. They're for yuppies in the 'burbs, they are desperate for attention, and you need to walk them when it's -20 out. No thanks. Cats all day long.
I remember around 2004-2007, my father and I would take walks down the rural road near his house. All the dogs ran loose. The neighbor didn't give the dog any attention, so it followed us around, and even waited on the steps for us to go on our walk.
