To all my Gunsmoke bandits; Spam the pause (start button) and hit a grandiose electric guitar solo for all to love. I remember doing this with the advantage stick on slow mo and there it was, haven't done that since I was 12, maybe it's time to do it again...

It might grow on you. It wasn't love at first sight with me initially.

It's been awhile since I've played any NES/FC stuff.

I just cleared Guevarra after recently picking it up.

    NES.

Its a superb game. First time I've put a dogbone to serious work - I'm impressed.

Haven't tried it with the Ascii stick yet. Supposedly there's an infinite 1up exploit on level 6 somewhere, but I'm not far into level 6 yet and haven't noticed it.

Don't worry about the exploit, I never used it nor heard of it until now...the thing is, the game is truly generous with score extends and extra lives found here and there, you really don't need that cushion.

NES is where is at if you want a challenge, once you get the hang of it you'll find that it truly isn't that hard, when you finally feel that way...the ninja is you!

On topic, here's a little pic of some 1CCs...just warming up...getting back into the NG3 fold is a daunting task...Kabuky Quantum Fighter is a good training game...

Can't berlieve I just discovered this thread. Here are some games I have beat without using a continue, or dying.

    Zelda
    Castlevania 1
    Kid Icarus
    Super Mario 1 (easy)
    Punch-Out
    Kung-Fu
    Duck Tales
    Rescue Rangers
    River City Ransom
    Double Dragon 2
    Faxanadu
    Rygar

That's just some. I'm sure there are more, just off the top of my head.

Here are some hard games I have managed to beat, and am happy with not having 1cc.

    All the Ninja Gaidens
Ghosts n' Goblins (2nd run with shield)
    Battletoads

    Shit I can't beat.

    Soloman's Key (so close)
    Legacy of the Wizard
    Festers Quest
Bart vs the Space Mutants (again so close...)

Beaten in 2017: Not a Damn thing! But the Year is Still Young.

    Close to Completion:
Bravely Default - Skyrim (pc) - Dragon Quest IX -

Games I can't beat that make me violent:
Solomon's Key (nes) (fuck Solomon and his damn key) - Festers Quest - R-Type - Ghost Pilots

    Section Z

Fuuuuck this was the first video game I ever bought with my own money. I finally finished it today, with 1cc at the same time (once you know where to go it's not super hard to get back to that point).

I recently cleared the first loop of Salamander.

I should be able to get the 2-All.

EDIT: Got the 2-All. I think I had 26 lives left (died one time per loop, both during the exit terrain parts upon destroying the final boss). I should have gone for the 3-All, but I turned the game off. I HAVE A LIFE, YA KNOW.
