Hi there,

My new site is located here:
http://www.legeekretrogaming.com/geekblog/?page_id=87

I am still working on the rest of my site, but the insert section is ready to go...

My latest inserts (added 05/01/12):
Bang Bang Busters
Blazing Star variant
League Bowling variant
Metal Slug variant
Prehistoric Isle 2
Samurai Shodown II variant
Shock Troopers variant

I currently have plans to color correct two of the KoF 02 designs and put together an insert for Gunlord.

Cheers,
Ben

COOL AND NOTED. It has been awhile since I've updated my page. I have at least three unfinished works I need to get back to.
I'm getting ready to dive back in and go through the Print shop pain..Is anybody offering any resistance these days?? I think I'm going to try staples soon. I haven't seen a Kinkos around in awhile..They're still around, right?? <chuckling>

How about a VLiner insert?

Is there actually any official artwork for v-liner?

I have the artwork (sticker sheet) that came with my cart I've scanned that I can share.

It's a basic casino game so a general insert should be pretty simple to whip up for these insert pros.

Hi Jeff, That would be cool. Please share the link as I don't believe I've ever seen the art associated with that title or I probably need my memory refreshed. How about Jockey Grand Prix as well if you have that.
I purchased a NEO POCKET game a long time ago just for the insert and It's been sitting here forever. I just need some HOW TO material to fill up the back cover.

How does this look? Did I get the meg count right? Is it actually a 1-2 Player game?

Thanks,
Ben

I personally would overwhelm the from cover with the slot machine if that's all you have to work with. Right now it looks a little too conservative imo.

One player game.

I like what BB said -- go bigger with the slot machine. The pattern in the background is nice too. Better than a plain white color :)

The bigger slot machine is better, but I think a couple more tweaks are needed:

Move the BrezzaSoft logo -- maybe to the top right or spine?
More text on back of insert. Maybe look for some slot flyers online to see what some buzzwords can be added? What's the back of the Neo Mystery Bonus insert look like?

Also, a space is needed after the comma in "A-E,hits" and spell correction on "crdit"

With V-liner, I guess the thing is the v = 5 as in 5 liner, 5 drops, a,b,c,d,e.

The title screen shows stacks of gold coins if my memory serves me well. I'd try to find stock photos of gold coins for background and simply the 5 lines showing the bar, apple, etc. maybe the crank/knob thingie.

The machine doesn't seem to be working.

Cool gunlord, if you're not making it for ng dev, then why not do it in tradition with other inserts?

I get that, but I think the insert has now landed on its feet, as it were. Kind of want to work on other stuff...

I was/am making it to match my Fast Strikers, but that's a good idea, I'll make both.

At least fix the typos on the vack of VLiner before calling it quits/final :)

Teeheehee.

As far as the errors, if that's the way official paperwork is, leave it alone. (sorry Jeff)

About the slots, try motion blurr on the last two or one to give it that action of spinning effect, not sure how it will look but try it out see what you think.

Doesn't the V refer to the two extra betting lines that goes top-middle-bottom-middle-top (V shaped) and bottom-middle-top-middle-bottom (upside down V) along the 3 rows that you can line them up with?
